Annual Meeting

Lake Perry Lotowners' Association annual meeting will be held Sunday, April 25, 2010. The meeting will be held at the American Legion hall in Perryville beginning at 1PM.

Gate Codes Change

Effective Monday, February 1, 2010, the gate codes will change. If you have not paid your 2010 assessment, you need to contact Rich DeWilde's office and you will receive your new key card and/or remote code upon payment.

Recycling Containers for Cardboard and Glass

We now have a white 6’ X 12’ trailer for recycling cardboard. It has a partition to separate corrugated cardboard from pasteboard and an outside door to each compartment. Cardboard goes in the rear; pasteboard in the front. Please flatten all items completely to maximize use per haul.

Have trouble telling the difference between cardboard and pasteboard? Cardboard has ripples when you look at it flat. If you look at the edge, you can see cells, which are sometimes very tiny. Pasteboard, such as a cereal box, however, is smooth and does not have cells when you look at the edge.

We got the new trailer for cardboard and the new containers for glass by participating in a grant with Perry County Recycling and through the generous donation of an individual lot owner.

Please spread the word to all of your Lake Perry neighbors and thank you for recycling
.

Missouri Stream Team

This organization's goal is to keep our Missouri waters clean. Volunteers pick up litter from the water/shores. Contact Debbie Trautman (573-339-9776) if you are interested in volunteering. More information at www.mostreamteam.org

Board of Trustees

Tom Murphy has been chosen to fill the vacancy on the board. His term will expire in April 2011.

STORM DAMAGE - BRUSH REMOVAL

Any lot owner who has brush from the recent storm can take it to the temporary trailer parking lot, which is the old Children's Fishing Pond, located between plats 1 and 3. Please place the brush to the back of the lot.
