Lake Perry Café News:

On the weekend of May 21st – 23rd, the newly decorated Lake Perry Café was open for business. While this was considered a “test run”, the food was great. Jim and his team cooked up some great Chicken & Dumplings on Friday night AND the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning was a hit.

Jim and the crew will be ready to kick the season off this weekend, Memorial Day, and will be there every weekend (Friday through Sunday afternoon) through Labor Day.

Each Friday night they will have a “Special” starting with BBQ Pork Steaks, Potato Salad and Green Beans on Friday night, May 28th.

Each Saturday and Sunday the normal menu will be available. Don’t forget the Breakfast Buffet available every Sunday starting at 8:30am.

Please keep checking the website and look for signs posted at the gates, for upcoming Friday Night Specials. Please stop by the café. It really is a great time to come and visit with some old friends and make some new ones.

Restaurant hours for the 2010 season

Friday 2pm - 8pm
Saturday 11am - 7pm
Sunday 830am - 3pm

The Board of Trustees has contracted withThe Spillway to provide restaurant services this summer. The restaurant will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (check the website, the bulletin boards and the facility for hours). The plan is to offer plate meals on Friday evenings and the usual grill food will be available at other times (burgers, fries, sandwiches, snacks, etc.). There will also be breakfast on Sunday mornings. Beer, wine and cocktails will also be available. The facility has received a facelift thanks to a group of hard working volunteers.

As a reminder, please do not enter the restaurant with your own beverages. All food and drink inside the building and on the back patio must be purchased on site.

Please patronize the restaurant. If WE do not support it, it will not be there in the future.
